Streaming Tight Ends: Week 10 Targets
We are without tight end fixtures Travis Kelce and Hayden Hurst this week, along with Dalton Schultz and the Jets tight ends, who are all getting much-needed rest during their team’s byes. Week 10 brings a few decent options to stream, so hopefully, we can find some fruitful fill-ins.
As a strategy, streaming aims to find players with above-average matchups, which can hopefully translate to fantasy TE1 production for your fantasy squad. For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

Week 9 was not a great one on the stream, as my best performer was Ross Dwelley with 6.7 half-PPR points (fantasy TE17), with the rest producing as TE3s. So far, 4for4’s optimal streamer boasts 133.7 total points—good enough for the overall fantasy TE2 on the season.
In order to provide advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Austin Hooper (Browns) vs. Texans
Before his appendectomy, Hooper was averaging 5.5 targets and 6.3 half-PPR points per contest. These aren’t earth-shattering numbers, but are certainly decent enough in the current tight end landscape to consider him startable.
Week 10 brings a home tilt against a Texans defensive unit ranked 18th in TE aFPA. The Browns offense is rested with enough time to plan for this contest, so Hooper should slide back in and produce for your fantasy team on Sunday.
