Aaron Jones is expected to sign with the Vikings on a one-year deal for $7 million.

This is a nice snag for Minnesota, as Jones can operate in a one-two punch with Chandler. The offense as a whole is in a questionable spot without a quarterback, though. Jones and Chandler should be considered low-upside options in 2024.

Former Eagles QB Marcus Mariota is signing with the Washington Commanders on a 1-year deal with a base value of $6 million and upside to $10 million, per source.

The Commanders sign further insurance for the quarterback room, in case their eventual rookie signal-caller has problems getting up to speed.

It's the end of an era in Cincinnati, where Joe Mixon spent seven seasons, ran for 49 touchdowns, and was part of a Super Bowl team. Now, both sides move on, with Zack Moss joining the Bengals and Mixon headed to free agency.

The Bengals looked like they would prefer a committee approach towards the end of last season, and that's likely what is going to happen heading into 2024, with Moss operating as the main piece. He won't have the upside of Mixon because of that usage, but he should still be considered a top-25 option, with Brown a little bit behind that.

Veteran RB Austin Ekeler is signing with the Commanders on a two-year deal worth up to $11.43 million.

The Brian Robinson bellcow role lasted about two hours, but the Commanders backs have company now. Ekeler had clearly lost a step last season, but a veteran pass-catching presence in the backfield will be an obvious plus. Ekeler should carve out a role that puts him in RB2 conversation, while Robinson holds onto a goal-line role that makes him almost as fantasy viable.

Former Ravens RB Gus Edwards reached an agreement on a two-year deal with the Chargers. Edwards now will be reuniting with former Ravens and current Chargers assistant Greg Roman.

Edwards should easily be considered the most talented back on the Chargers roster at this point, and would likely hold down that role regardless of the team's draft plans. L.A. has plenty of holes to fill, which should leave Edwards with nominal competition. He should be considered an RB3 as it stands.

The Giants and Texans RB Devin Singletary have reached an agreement for him to go to NYG, after a career-high 898 yards.

Singletary did his job in Houston, which was to push sophomore Dameon Pierce, before eventually taking his job. Singletary will assuredly not fill the Saquon Barkley role in his new home, and will be involved in a heavily split backfield with Eric Gray, a likely rookie, and others.

Patriots informed WR DeVante Parker that they are releasing him Wednesday and he now has been given permission to talk to other teams.

New England has a lot of work to do to make this WR room approachable from a fantasy standpoint, and this will go a little bit of the way to clearing room for new pieces. Expect the Patriots to target at least one pass-catcher in the NFL Draft.

The #Raiders have agreed to terms with QB Gardner Minshew on a 2-year deal. He'll compete with QB Aidan O'Connell.

Minshew performed admirably in steed of Anthony Richardson, but this doesn't do a lot for fantasy purposes. He has proven that he doesn't mind honing in on a #1 option, so should he win the job, Davante Adams should expect plenty of targets.

The Packers are releasing star RB Aaron Jones. A three-time 1,000-yard rusher, Jones missed time with injuries last season and was due $12 million in 2024. Instead, he hits the market at age 29.

This is huge news for Jacobs, as he will likely only be competing with Patrick Taylor for touches as it stands, unless the team is contemplating keeping an under-performing A.J. Dillon. Jones will definitely land somewhere, so we'll be keeping an eye out.

Former Commanders' running back Antonio Gibson is expected to join the Patriots.

The Patriots backfield looks like it's going to be an absolute nightmare for fantasy purposes, as part of one of the worst offenses in the league. Gibson shouldn't be more than a late-round dart.

This should leave Brian Robinson as the bellcow in Washington.
