Taylor Heinicke couldn’t lead the Commanders to a win over the Giants last Sunday and the offense hasn’t scored more than 20 points in any of their last three games, but they had won five of six before that 20-20 tie and they remain in good shape in the fight for a playoff spot in the NFC. That’s enough for Rivera to stick with Heinicke once Carson Wentz is back on the active roster.

“I feel comfortable with Taylor,” Rivera said, via Peter Hailey of NBCSportsWashington.com. “When Carson’s activated, he’ll be the primary backup and we’ll go from there.”

The Commanders have a bye in Week 14 and that gives the team a chance to take some stock of where things stand in various areas but head coach Ron Rivera said that he likes what he sees at quarterback right now. Heinicke has thrown five interceptions in seven starts, but Wentz was even less protective of the ball and wide receiver Terry McLaurin‘s production has spiked with Heinicke at quarterback, the story all said.

Chiefs placed RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire on injured reserve due to his high ankle sprain. He’s now out a minimum of four weeks.

The Chiefs plan of attack looks to remain the same at RB as it really had been over the last couple of weeks - Pacheco as the RB1 with McKinnon getting some carries and playing in some passing situations. However, after being inactive all season, we may get a Jones sighting in Week 12.

Wan'Dale Robinson tore his right ACL, per head coach Brian Daboll. His season is over.

Awful news for Robinson, who finally had his breakout game (9-100 on 13 targets) on Sunday. The Giants' dwindling receiver room gets even more depleted, and maybe the team will have to employ Kenny Golladay against their best wishes. Darius Slayton has become the team's de facto WR1, and we'll see how the rest of the usage breaks down, but Daniel Jones is going to have to keep making things happen with his legs.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Chargers with an ankle injury.

CEH saw just two rushes for nine yards. With CEH out, Isiah Pacheco looks to take the lead role for now for the Chiefs. He had five carries in the first half.

Patrick Mahomes has proven that it doesn't necessarily matter who is on the field, as long as he has Travis Kelce handy. With that said, we could be in for the most usage Kadarius Toney has ever seen in his career come Sunday night.
