The Jacksonville Jaguars dismissed coach Mike Mularkey after one season, the team announced Thursday.
Mularkey becomes the eighth NFL coach fired since the regular-season ended.
New GM Dave Caldwell is thought to be eyeing 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman or Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Nolan as Mularkey's replacement, sources told ESPN.
Fantasy Impact:
Mularkey helmed a less-than-stellar offense in Atlanta, so it was a strange hire for the Jaguars last year.
