Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. WR Justin Watson (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday. WR Scott Miller (hip, groin) did not practice Wednesday. With Chris Godwin out and Miller banged up, Watson could see additional usage in Week 4.

Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (concussion, doubtful) returned to take limited reps Friday after missing practice earlier in the week and is doubtful for Week 2. Godwin could still make it back by Sunday but he has a few tests he has to pass and is listed as doubtful. If he's out, Scott Miller would be a Sneaky Start against a shaky Carolina secondary.

Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (concussion) did not practice Wednesday. Godwin is in the concussion protocol after not showing any symptoms on Monday or Tuesday, per the Pewter Report. If he can't play, Scott Miller would likely see an increased role. He had 5-73 on six targets while playing 61% of the snaps last week.

Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's Week 1 game against the New Orleans Saints, according to James Palmer of the NFL Network.

Fantasy Impact:

While expected, the loss of Evans for Sunday's marquee match-up with the Saints is a big-time blow. Evans is the field-stretcher of the Bucs offense and is difficult to beat on jump balls. The main focus of the Saints' defense shifts to Chris Godwin and give Scott Miller an opportunity to get more targets with Tom Brady. Tight ends O.J. Howard and Rob Gronkowski can also expect more looks.

Scott Miller looks like a totally different player this year. He wasn’t active for the first two games last season before finishing with 13 catches for 200 receiving yards.

Fantasy Impact:

The story said now Miller is making some of the biggest plays of camp and building his case for the third receiver spot. Much of that goes back to Tom Brady and the confidence he’s infusing in teammates, the story added. Targets could be tough to come by for Miller with the other receivers and tight ends on the field, but right now Miller looks like the team's top WR3 candidate.

Asked about third receiver, Bruce Arians says the guy who's impressed is Justin Watson, who's dropped 10 pounds and hit 21 mph in practice, showing more speed.

Fantasy Impact:

Most depth charts have Miller as the team's WR3. Miller played well at times last year, standing out in a couple of games, but Watson seems to have a shot to overtake Miller at this point.
