Bengals RB Joe Mixon (calf) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Mixon was removed from the injury report so he's good to go in a smash spot against the Dolphins.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (calf) was not listed on the Week 16 final injury report for Cincinnati.

Fantasy Impact:

Mixon was added to the report Thursday with a limited practice but was a full participant Friday and there looks to be no issues with his calf. He is good to go for Sunday against the Dolphins. Mixon has been on a year as of late, coming off a 136-yard performance against the Patriots and now gets a Dolphins defense that has been generous to opposing running backs. After a slow first half, Mixon can be a championship winner Sunday.

Mixon's calf issue is worth monitoring since it's a new injury and the Bengals face the Dolphins this week, meaning that Giovani Bernard would be in a smash spot if Mixon were unable to play. Owners (with or without Mixon) may want to add Bernard just in case.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was forthright about the team’s ineptitude running the football through eight games.

After having the best year of his career in 2018 and leading the AFC in rushing, Mixon and the Bengals have struggled mightily to run the football. Entering Week 10, Cincinnati continues to be the league’s worst rushing offense.

Fantasy Impact:

Mixon is getting 12.6 rushing attempts per game but only 3.2 yards per run the story said. The team wants to establish the run early but is often hurt by negative plays and penalties. The story said the team will look to use more 12 personal in the coming weeks to help with the running game, after having success in London against the Rams, running for 104 yards.

In the four games that Mixon has missed in 2017 and 2018, Bernard averaged 17.5 touches for 89 yards and 1.0 touchdowns, which works out to a stellar 17.1 fantasy points per game in half-PPR formats.

Zac Taylor said RB Joe Mixon is still day-to-day. Said the goal for his practice schedule this week is to make sure he's healthy for Sunday's game against San Francisco.

Fantasy Impact:

Coach Taylor's goal for Joe Mixon is for him to get healthy enough to play Sunday and it looks like he won't need to practice to be able to go. This likely puts him as questionable to face the 49ers. We likely won't know his actual status until much closer to game time. If he can't go, Giovani Bernard would become a good start.
