Per league source, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is expected to be cleared this week and it is likely he will play on Sunday against the Saints.
Dr. James Andrews will be the one to clear Gronk, according to updated reports. The Saints-Patriots game is a late game on Sunday, so there will be some extra risk involved with starting Gronk. It's also possible the team limits his snaps, however he'll likely still fall in our low-end TE1 range - at least. Perhaps the best way to play it, assuming we don't get official word from the Pats before that, is to use him as a flex so you have more options in case he doesn't play. Until then, be sure to monitor the situation this week. With Gronk back and Danny Amendola coming out of last week OK, it seems Julian Edelman's value could take a bit of a hit here, at least in terms of targets.
