Saints RB Mark Ingram (hand) says he's 'doing everything,' team hasn't 'babied' him at all

RB Mark Ingram got the majority of the carries in the Saints' first two games. But as to how the Saints will split the reps on Sunday will be a wait and see game.

"He's doing well and we will kind of see how we handle that on Sunday," said Saints coach Sean Payton. "Obviously we value depth at that position."

If there's a positive to the injury, Ingram said, it's that it's not something nagging like his toe injury. Since his return to practice on Monday, he hasn't been limited in what he can do. He no longer has a brace on his hand, and the only reminder of his injury is a still-fresh scar on his hand.

"I'm ready to go full go, 100 percent, full tilt," he said. "I've been getting all the reps in practice. They haven't babied me or eased me into practice, so I've been doing everything, catching, running, blocking, everything."

Fantasy Impact:

We're expecting Ingram to return to his role as lead back, though the carries might be more of an even split with Khiry Robinson than they were before Ingram's injury. It was a 24-to-14 split in carries through two weeks, and Ingram also caught four passes prior to his injury.
