Cardinals’ RB James Conner is expected to miss multiple weeks with the knee injury he suffered Sunday vs. the Bengals.

Schefter went on to say Conner is now a candidate to be placed on injured reserve, per sources, which would mean he'll miss at least the next four games. After Conner left the game, Demercado took over the RB duties and will likely do so again with Conner out. Ingram is still dealing with a neck injury and has missed two-straight games and his status is unknown at this point for Week 6. The team did sign Jones but it looks like Demercado could be the RB1 at least in the short term. There's a very good chance Demercado is on your wire outside of deeper and dynasty leagues and could at least make for a usable fill-in at the running back spot.

Cardinals running back James Conner injured his knee in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals, playing only 12 snaps.

“I’m not quite sure yet, but it looks like [Conner could miss] a little bit of time,” Gannon told Arizona Sports on Monday. “We’re still working through that. James will be back at some point but honestly just wanted to add another back for some depth there to make sure we’re OK there for practice and for the games.”

The Cardinals added running back Tony Jones Jr. off waivers from the Saints, a sign Conner could miss time with his injury, the story pointed out. With Ingram (neck) also injured, Demercado replaced Conner and accounted for 57 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 11 touches. Demercado could again be in line for more work if Conner has to miss time.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said WR Zay Jones is a "long shot" to play the Falcons Sunday in London with a knee injury.

LB Devin Lloyd won’t travel to London and will miss the next two weeks. He had surgery to put two screws into his thumb yesterday; hope is he returns vs. Colts.

The Jaguars spread the target share out thin in Jones' absence in Week 3 and eventually fell to the Texans by 20 points. Tight end Evan Engram has become much more involved in the passing game over the last two weeks, and could continue to deliver usable fantasy games in London in Week 4.

WR Zay Jones (knee) is getting further testing today and is considered day to day, HC Doug Pederson told reporters.

Jones didn't record a catch in Week 2 against the Chiefs after a 5-55-1 line in Week 1. After not being a factor in Week 1, Kirk stepped up with a monster game, collecting 11 catches for 110 yards on 14 targets.

But it was Zay Jones, listed third on the team's WR depth chart, who paced all of the club's pass catchers in offensive snaps against the Colts (61).

With five catches on seven targets, including an acrobatic 18-yard touchdown, Jones also finished just behind Calvin Ridley as the Jags' most productive outlet for Trevor Lawrence. What's more, his connection with the young quarterback has been strong dating back to early in the 2022 campaign, Lawrence's first under coach Doug Pederson.

Jones led the way in snaps, but it was Ridley who ended up with the bigger day and an 8-101-1 line. Jones did finish ahead of Kirk who had just a 1-9-0 line and was targeted only three times. The story added Jones could be the go-to target for Lawrence on key downs this season.

Something to watch: Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker was limited for today’s practice with groin injury.

Definitely something to keep an eye on, as Charbonnet would instantly be an RB2 option if Walker is forced to miss Week 1. The dreaded heavy rotation we've feared since the team grabbed Charbonnet in the second round may be in effect sooner rather than later.
