Broncos WR K.J. Hamler recently underwent surgery after suffering a partially torn pec while training on his own. The recovery timeline is four to six months, giving Hamler a chance to be ready right around the start of training camp in late July.

Hamler was limited to just six games in 2022 while recovering from a knee injury and dealing with hamstring issues. You hate to see another injury setback to the 23-year-old but we'll see how this influences his future with the Denver Broncos.

The Browns are trading for Jets speedy WR Elijah Moore. A new threat in Cleveland. Terms: It's pick No. 42 for Moore and pick 74.

Just mere hours after signing Mecole Hardman, New York has moved on from speedster Elijah Moore, who they drafted in the second round of the 2021 draft. It clears the way for Hardman to be the Jets WR4 while Cleveland adds a much-needed offensive weapon at the cost of a pick-swap. It's an easy win for quarterback Deshaun Watson and the Browns offense.

The Jets have agreed to terms with Mecole Hardman on a one-year deal worth up to $6.5M.

Hardman brings a lot of speed and a gadget option but he's probably not seeing the field any more often than a rotational WR3. Assuming Aaron Rodgers ever signs a contract, Hardman could operate as a lite version of a late career Ranndall Cobb.

Bears are signing former Panthers’ RB D’Onta Foreman to a 1-year, $3 million deal.

The writing was on the wall for Foreman after the Miles Sanders signing in Carolina, as they both operate in the same part of the running game. Foreman, in turn, will likely operate as a Diet David Montgomery in Chicago, but Khalil Herbert should still be getting a healthy share of the work.

Miles Sanders is headed to the Carolina Panthers on a four-year deal. The exact specifics of the contract have not been revealed yet.

Even with the very good year D'Onta Foreman, this likely closes the possibility of the team re-signing him. Foreman and Sanders would be redundant assets, so for now it looks like a two-headed backfield of Sanders and Chuba Hubbard with Sanders acting as the 1a. It's not a great spot for fantasy purposes but at the least, it offers a veteran presence for their soon-to-be No. 1 quarterback.

The Seahawks placed WR Marquise Goodwin (shoulder, wrist) on injured reserve Saturday.

Goodwin's season is effectively over unless the Seahawks make a run to the NFC Championship Game. That would be the earliest he could return. Goodwin worked as the No. 3 receiver with time as No. 2 due to injuries. With Tyler Lockett back, whoever Seattle's WR3 is, whether that's Laquon Treadwell or Penny Hart or Dareke Young, won't have much fantasy value, especially in a tough matchup against the Jets.

Nick Chubb says he’s definitely playing the last two games and never considered shutting it down due to his foot issue.

While Chubb says he'll play through the foot injury, it's possible the Browns will have other plans. So, this is something for owners to monitor leading up to Week 17. It's possible Hunt gets to play a larger role over the next two weeks.

Mac Jones has had a difficult sophomore season, but it's hard to say that the offense would receive a miraculous upgrade with Zappe on the field. It's best to ignore the Patriots quarterback situation for now, and hope that they hire an offensive coordinator ahead of the 2023 season.

Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett underwent surgery on his hand Monday, coach Pete Carroll announced. Lockett could return as soon as Week 17.

Carroll called the surgery “perfect.”

Lockett broke his finger in last Thursday’s loss to the 49ers. He has 78 receptions for 964 yards and eight touchdowns this season. With Lockett out, Metcalf should be the top target with Goodwin likely stepping into the WR2 role and he may be worth a look if he's still on your wire.
