There was no sign of WR Davante Adams, who missed Wednesday with an illness, at start of practice Thursday.

It's good news that it's an illness and still relatively early in the week. Hunter Renfrow has been gearing back up so he and Darren Waller would be the likely beneficiaries on the off-chance Adams is forced to miss Week 8.

Packers receiver Allen Lazard had to exit Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury.

At this point, it’s unclear whether he’ll be available for Green Bay’s Week Eight matchup against the Bills

Lazard had six catches for 55 yards before he had to leave the game. He currently leads Green Bay’s struggling offense with 340 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 26 catches, the story said.
Multiple reporters spotted Lazard in a sling in the Packers’ locker room after the game, it went on to say. Lazard will need to be monitored this week as far as his Week 8 status goes.

The Jets are making a big trade, acquiring Jaguars RB James Robinson to help replaced injured RB Breece Hall. Draft pick compensation is going back to the Jags.

Michael Carter's 12-hour reign as the Jets' RB1 is over, as the team makes a move that will clear the way for Travis Etienne to be the workhorse number one back in Jacksonville. Robinson and Carter will split time in New York while Etienne has nothing but JaMycal Hasty and Snoop Conner to keep away for his touch share. Wheels up for ETN.

Tests showed that Jets’ RB Breece Hall suffered a torn ACL and a minor meniscus injury.

A brutal blow to the Jets and a great rookie season from Breece Hall. Michael Carter would presumably move into a more workhorse role, with Ty Johnson rotating more in the passing and running game.

Jets RB Breece Hall likely suffered a torn ACL according to head coach Robert Saleh.

Hall left the game in the second quarter and was quickly ruled out. He'll be evaluated tomorrow, but Saleh said the initial diagnosis was "not good". It's a brutal blow for the Jets, who were starting to find their identity with him running the football. Now, it'll be Michael Carter as the lead back with Ty Johnson sprinkled in. Very unfortunate end for a guy that was possibly headed for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Jets RB Breece Hall has been ruled out for the rest of the game against the Broncos with a knee injury.

Hall suffered the injury later in the second quarter and tried to walk back to the locker room but ultimately could not make it all the way and ended up taking the cart to the locker room. He then was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game, which unfortunately could be a bad sign but the hope is perhaps it's just precautionary. Michael Carter will now be back as the lead back for the Jets.

Jets WR Elijah Moore, frustrated with his role and usage, has asked for a trade. The team has no plans at all to trade him.

The news comes as a shock until you look at Moore's usage since the return of Zach Wilson, including back-to-back season-lows in routes run and six combined targets in three games. Moore was almost fantasy relevant through three weeks, coming in as the overall WR64 before Wilson's return. Since then, he has scored 8.6 half-PPR points, clocking in as the WR86.

Christian Watson (hamstring) joins WR Jake Hanson (elbow) and WR Randall Cobb (ankle) on the sidelines for Thursday's practice.

Watson had been rotating in during Weeks 4 and 5 before missing last week's game, and it's trending toward that inevitability again. Sammy Watkins has been activated off IR and could be a go for Week 7, so targets could spread more spread out as the season continues, which is bad news for Allen Lazard.

The Packers listed QB Aaron Rodgers (right thumb) as a full participant on today's participation report.

Obviously good news to see Rodgers on the field ahead of the Week 6 game against the Jets. New York is a susceptible defense if you can get past their above-average pass rush. This sets up well for Aaron Jones and, to a lesser extent, A.J. Dillon, as the Jets currently rank 22nd in aFPA to the running back position.
