It's actually six Bucs players ruled out, as Russell Gage was also ruled out (hamstring). So Gage, Cameron Brate, Goedeke, Davis, Winfield, Murphy-Bunting all out. Akiem Hicks would make it seven out, meaning Kyle Trask dresses as third QB.

Reports also say Jones will come down to a game-time call, meaning Miller and Perriman should see more time behind the big-two of Godwin and Evans.

Cade Otton had the full TE1 role back in Week 5 and delivered acceptable results, finishing as the TE14, running a route at the third-highest rate (94.2%) amongst tight ends, and racking up seven targets. The team’s Week 7 implied total sits at 25.5, the fifth-highest mark of the slate, which provides some touchdown equity for Otton, who had two red zone targets in his lone start of the season.

Steve Wilks says P.J. Walker will start this week at QB.

Walker wasn't impressive in Week 6 but the Panthers likely have no other choice here. Mayfield is still hurt and Darnold was just designated to return, but will need more time.

Darnold now has 21 days to get ready. But given Mayfield's injury timetable and P.J. Walker's struggles last week, Darnold could end up starting in Week 7. It's a fluid situation at this point, but not one to get excited about in most fantasy leagues.

Saints WR Chris Olave said he is fully cleared, 100% and planning to return Thursday at Arizona after missing Week 6 with a concussion.

It's looking like Thomas and Landry may not be ready on a short week and did not practice today according to reports. It means Olave should be a decent play as the team's top WR in Week 7. He's the safest play out of Callaway, Smith, Harty and Kirkwood who could also see snaps.

Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate, who left the field on a backboard yesterday, went home on the team flight, was in good spirits, and had all of his follow-up scans negative. He’ll be monitored, but as it pertains to his neck, this is good news.

After Brate's recent history with neck/head injuries, it would be safe to assume that he will not be suiting up for Week 7. This would open the door for rookie fourth-rounder Cade Otton, who has ten targets across the last two games.

WR Chris Olave continues to progress through the concussion protocol while teammates Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry both missed practice.

With the Saints' odd —if effective— usage of Taysom Hill, it's hard to say who would benefit if Thomas and Landry miss Week 6. Olave would be the most obvious choice, but after him and may just be Hill and Alvin Kamara. Marquez Callaway is the next best bet but we currently have him ranked as the WR52.

Olave is dealing with a concussion and never returned after catching a touchdown and hitting his head on the turf last week. Thomas has missed the last two weeks with his foot injury and isn't off to a great start for Week 6. Landy is dealing with an ankle injury. With Harty also listed as DNP, the Saints could be looking at a top-three of Callaway, Smith and Kirkwood in Week 6.
