Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters after Sunday's win over the Jaguars that quarterback Joe Flacco will be the starting quarterback for the rest of the season.
Not a bad move as Flacco has keep the offense clicking and had a very good day in the big win over Jacksonville. Flacco went 26 of 45 for 311 yards with three touchdown passes in the 31-27 win. Cleveland now sits alone atop the AFC wild card standings at 8-5. FYI, Flacco is doing this at 38 years old. Unfortunately, the Browns have already played both games against the Ravens. However, Flacco will get to face one of his former teams when the Browns host the Jets in Week 17. The Browns finish with the Bears, Texans, Jets and Bengals. Two more wins should be enough to get Cleveland into the playoffs.
