Arian Foster was limited in practice during the week because of a hamstring injury. The same problem quickly knocked him out of Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Foster left the game after just four carries for 11 yards. He went to the locker room and initially was deemed questionable to return. Foster returned to the sideline soon thereafter without his uniform on and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
He's considered day-to-day at this point. The good news is the Texans have a bye in Week 8 to help Foster get healthy for the rest of the season. Foster commented after the game that he didn't think it was too severe, but we likely won't know a whole lot more because of the bye week. Ben Tate would carry the load if Foster can't go in Week 9 against the Colts. If he's on your wire, he's a must-add.
