Eagles preparing for DeSean Jackson Week 4

The last time the Eagles' secondary faced a true No. 1 receiver, in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, they allowed Julio Jones to catch nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Which is why even though the status of Washington Redskins receiver, and former Eagles' playmaker, DeSean Jackson is very much up in the air, defensive coordinator Billy Davis said Tuesday the team will be ready this Sunday.

"Yes we will," Davis said. "We'll prepare for DeSean."

Jackson has been sidelined since he suffered a hamstring injury in the Redskins' Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

"He is probably right on the verge of coming back," Davis said. "I know DeSean will want to come back for this game to get back out there and help the team."

Fantasy Impact: 

According to the Washington Post, Jackson did not practice Monday, the story said. The original diagnosis for his injury was three-to-four weeks. Jackson likely wants to play in this one against his former team, a team he also had tremendous success against in two games last year.
