Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon is unlikely to play today due to foot injury, though he wants to run and test it pre game.

Fantasy Impact:

The Redskins play at 4PM, so owners waiting on Garcon will need to have another late game option. Aldrick Robinson is expected to fill in if Garcon can't go. He's a sneaky start for desperate owners.

Redskins WR Pierre Garcon (foot, questionable) took limited practice reps again Friday and is questionable for Week 2. Garcon is iffy for Week 2, but it sounds like it's a matter of pain tolerance. If that's the case, he has a shot to play, but it's hard to trust him due to the possibility of re-injury. If he can't play, Aldrick Robinson can be used in his place. Santana Moss should also see increased targets.

Redskins WR Pierre Garcon suffered a foot injury against the Saints. X-rays were negative and he's not expected to miss Week 2.

Fantasy Impact:

Garcon's terrific rapport with Robert Griffin III translated from the preseason to the regular season, as the duo hooked up four times for 109 yards and a touchdown. With Garcon sidelined, Griffin started looking to Aldrick Robinson, who caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.

Redskins wide receiver competition — Leonard Hankerson appeared to have an edge in the battle for the wideout spot opposite Pierre Garcon, but Josh Morgan — after a week on the sideline – had a decent showing in the preseason opener.

Santana Moss looks like the favorite at slot receiver, and then a gang of young players find themselves battling for the final few spots on a crowded receiver corps. Anthony Armstrong (shoulder) is expected to return to action after missing the last week.

Meanwhile Brandon Banks aims to bounce back from a disappointing preseason debut, and Aldrick Robinson and Terrence Austin also aim to catch up.
