IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 18, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Wild Card vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Andrew Luck's level of play has gone down a bit in recent weeks. We can't take much away from his Week 17 outing considering the Colts weren't giving it their all. But in Week 16 Luck had his worst game of the season. And Week 15 was his second-worst performance.

It's hard to overlook all of the good Luck has done this season, though. He finished with over 4,700 yards and 40 touchdowns.

In the Wild Card he faces a Bengals team that has been strong against quarterbacks most of the season, but recently have faltered. In three of the last four games the Bengals have allowed over 310 passing yards. They also gave up at least two passing touchdowns in each of those games.

Luck also performed well against the Bengals when he faced them in Week 7. He threw for 344 yards and two touchdowns. There aren't a lot of elite options at quarterback in the first round of the playoffs. Luck is definitely one of those options. He's a great play in the first round of the playoffs.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Week 17 vs. Tennessee Titans

Andrew Luck was a huge letdown last week. The Colts were down big early, and Luck was eventually pulled from the game in the third quarter. He finished with a season low 22 pass attempts for a season low 109 yards and a season low 0 touchdowns. He also had two interceptions.

Luck has actually struggled over the past few weeks. He's thrown six interceptions in his last four games and has failed to reach 200 yards in two consecutive weeks. His fortunes don't look too bright for Week 17, either.

Chuck Pagano says the Colts won't rest their starters this week, but he likely won't push them to the limit, either. The Colts have nothing to play for against the Titans. Actually, Tennessee hasn't been too favorable to quarterbacks this season. The Titans have only allowed multiple passing scores in three games.

Luck will likely be asked to do a lot less this week, and that's why he's not a great option.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Week 16 vs. Dallas

Andrew Luck had one of his poorer performances of the season last week. He threw for just 187 yards (second lowest of the season) and finished with two touchdowns and one interception. Fantasy owners had relied on his stellar play all season and he gave him his worst performance in the first round of the fantasy playoffs.

If your team was able to get past Luck's poor efforts and last another week, then don't stop starting him now. Luck has the ability to easily be the top scoring quarterback every week. Especially when he has a good matchup like he does this week against Dallas. Start him with confidence.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Week 15 vs. Houston Texans

Andrew Luck has slowed down his incredible pace in recent weeks. He's still been amazing, he just hasn't been as amazing as he was earlier in the year. He's turned the ball over seven times in his last three games and has failed to reach 300 yards in two of those games. Still, he's scored eight touchdowns in the last two weeks so he's not hurting for points.

He doesn't get a dream matchup this week against Houston, but it's definitely not a bad one. The last time Luck faced Houston he threw for 370 yards and three touchdowns as T.Y. Hilton torched the Texans' secondary.

Luck has gotten your team this far into the fantasy season so don't think about sitting him now. He's a must-start QB1 option.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Week 14 vs. Cleveland Browns

Andrew Luck didn't play well in Week 12, but he made up for it with his Week 13 performance. He threw a career high five touchdowns while throwing for 370 yards. The weird part? He did all of that while having just 27 pass attempts, his lowest total since Week 1 of last season.

He'll likely have more pass attempts this week, but expect lower numbers. He's facing a fairly tough Browns defense. Cleveland has allowed an average of just 205 yards over the last five games.

While Luck may not produce the type of numbers he did last week, he's still one of the best options at his position. He's a must-start QB1.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Week 13 vs. Washington

Andrew Luck finally had a letdown performance last week. He finished with 253 yards and just one touchdown. It's the first time he's finished with just a single touchdown in a game this season. He did, however, add 49 rushing yards (season high) to his total.

He should be able to get back on track this week against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins have allowed the third most points to opposing QBs this season. A quarterback has thrown at least one touchdown in every game against them.

Luck should be back to putting up elite numbers. He's a no-brainer QB1 start.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Andrew Luck - Week 12 vs. Jacksonville

If you own Andrew Luck you know how good he is. He's had 300 yards in every game but one this season. He’s scored at least three touchdowns in seven games this season and has multiple touchdowns in every game. He hasn’t had a bad game all year long.

Don’t expect him to slow down, either. Luck gets to face the Jaguars for the second time this season. What happened the first time? He threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns. The Jags have been a bit tougher on QBs lately, but it’s unlikely they slow down Luck.

If you own Luck you’d be a fool to bench him. He’s a must-start, obvious QB1.
