Scouting report

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Washington
After back-to-back 100+ yard receiving games, Dallas Goedert was held to two receptions for 28 yards last week. He has been known to disappear in certain games, but surely is capable of those huge tight end numbers.

Washington is ranked 22nd in aFPA to tight ends and Goedert had 135 receiving yards in the first meeting. Definitely start him for Week 17 as a top 5 fantasy tight end.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New York Giants
Dallas Goedert has had back-to-back 100+ receiving yard games and has two touchdowns over that span. He is the biggest target in the Philly passing game. Goedert had struggled earlier in the season but seems to have gotten his act together as of late.

Goedert faces the Giants who are ranked 11th in aFPA to tight ends. In the first meeting, he had only one catch for 3 yards against New York. Look for Goedert to have a better game this time around. Start him as a top 5 fantasy tight end for Week 16.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Washington
Before the bye week, Dallas Goedert had his best game of the season. He caught six passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns from backup QB Gardner Minshew. The Eagles will get Jalen Hurts back this week so expect Philly to go back to the run-first philosophy.

Goedert will face Washington who is ranked 17th in aFPA to tight ends. He has been pretty consistent most of the season and his ranking has indicated that. We expect him to get good enough numbers against the WFT to have a positive fantasy impact. Start Goedert as a solid TE1 for Week 15.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New York Jets
Dallas Goedert was held to one catch for zero yards last week as the Eagles' passing game has sputtered over the past month. Goedert's stock has gone down because the results haven't been there although no fault of his own.

Goedert faces the Jets who are 21st in aFPA to tight ends. With the favorable matchup, we are going to forget about last week and look for Goedert to do enough Week 13 to warrant a start as a low-end TE1. Put him in your lineup.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New York Giants
Dallas Goedert had a season-high 8 targets last week which produced five receptions for 62 yards. It was his best number in three weeks, but he still hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 4. Even though the Eagles have gone run-heavy, QB Jalen Hurts still looks to Goedert in certain situations.

The Eagles face division-rival New York and the Giants are ranked 16th in aFPA to tight ends. Goedert should put up similar numbers he had done the last few weeks. Start him as a low-end TE1 for Week 12.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New Orleans
Dallas Goedert had only two targets last Sunday which tied his season-low. It produced two receptions for 28 yards, but that would be considered disappointing, especially with Zach Ertz off the roster.

Goedert faces the Saints who are ranked 7th in aFPA to tight ends. So with the tough matchup and the recent numbers, his ranking falls off this week. It's strange that Goedert was considered a TE1 going into the season with Ertz on the roster and now he has fallen from that tier with Ertz gone. Keep Goedert on the bench for Week 11.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Denver
Dallas Goedert has three receptions for 43 yards. He was targeted six times which has pretty much been his season average. The Eagles' passing game has struggled although Goedert hasn't been severely affected.

The Broncos are up next and are ranked 1st in aFPA to tight ends. Goedert has had top 5 potential at times and although he is ranked as a TE1 for Week 10, he drops down a little bit because of the tough matchup. Start Goedert in all leagues and formats.
