DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Miami Dolphins

Demaryius Thomas’ numbers took a big dive last week in Oakland with Paxton Lynch under center into the third quarter. He was targeted 8 times, leading to 5 catches for just 18 yards, with his longest reception accounting for only 6 yards. Trevor Siemian will be back as the starting QB this week, but all three of Thomas’ TDs this season came with Brock Osweiler leading the team. The offense should have more flow to it on Sunday, however, making Thomas a viable fantasy player. The Dolphins are No. 17 versus the pass, so keep on starting DT.

Week 12 at Oakland Raiders

It’s becoming a habit lately—the Broncos fall behind and then get a fourth-quarter touchdown from Demaryius Thomas. He scored for the third straight game last week to bring Denver within a field goal versus the Bengals, but Denver couldn’t complete the comeback. Thomas finished with 5 catches for 64 yards. In the October win versus the Raiders, Trevor Siemian only threw for 179 yards with DT held to just an 11-yard grab. A new coordinator and new QB in Paxton Lynch likely won’t be much of a spark for the offense, but go ahead and keep on starting Thomas, as he’s become a scoring machine.

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

After not scoring in the first seven games, Demaryius Thomas has been in the end zone in two straight weeks. Against New England last Sunday night, he finished with 5 grabs for 44 yards. On the season, Thomas has just one 100-yard game, but the offense has had to throw the ball a lot lately due to early deficits. At home versus Cincinnati this week, Thomas should remain in your starting lineup, even against a solid Bengals pass defense.

Week 10 vs. New England Patriots

It took until Week 9, but Demaryius Thomas finally found the end zone in 2017. Sure, it was a garbage TD that capped off his 8 receptions for 70 yards afternoon, but fantasy owners were happy to see DT get the Broncos’ lone offensive score. It looks like Brock Osweiler will remain the starter on Sunday night back at home versus the Patriots. New England allows nearly 300 passing yards per game, so look for another good day from Thomas.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Philadelphia Eagles

After just 2 receptions the week prior, Demaryius Thomas bounced back on Monday to lead the team with 5 grabs for 66 yards in the loss to the Chiefs. Emmanuel Sanders has missed the past two weeks and the Broncos offense has felt the loss. Brock Osweiler will be the QB on Sunday, which may actually mean a drop in Thomas’ numbers, as the veteran hasn’t shown to be as accurate as Trevor Siemian. Thomas should remain in your starting lineup, but temper expectations, even against a poor Philly pass defense.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Kansas City Chiefs

Even without Emmanuel Sanders on the field last Sunday, Demaryius Thomas collected only 2 grabs for 9 yards. He was targeted 6 times, but it was an all-around ugly performance from the Denver offense. In Kansas City on Monday night, Thomas will face a pass defense ranked No. 28 in the league. While he should remain in your starting lineup, a huge fantasy performance from any of the Broncos would be a surprise.

DEN WR Demaryius Thomas - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Los Angeles Chargers

Playing through the pain of a sore leg last Sunday night in the loss to the Giants, Demaryius Thomas posted his best game of the year. On 14 targets, he collected 10 receptions for 133 yards. He has yet to score a touchdown this season, though. Thomas should be good to go versus the Chargers this week and may see even more looks with Emmanuel Sanders out. In the September win over the Chargers, Thomas caught 5 passes for 67 yards. He remains a must-start.
