CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Pittsburgh Steelers

After an ugly Week 6 performance, Jarvis Landry bounced back with a strong Week 7 game, catching 10-of-15 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown. He's seen at least 10 targets in every game but one this season and while he hasn't always produced, he's been more reliable than not.

He gets a good matchup this week against the Steelers who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing WRs. In Week 1 Landry finished with seven catches for 106 yards against Pittsburgh, so there's a strong chance for a big game here. Landry can be viewed as a WR2 option.

CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jarvis Landry saw his usual amount of targets (10) last week, but he didn't really get a chance to haul them in. He finished with two catches for 11 yards, both easily season lows. We're not too worried since he had so many looks, it was just a bad game for Baker Mayfield.

Landry should bounce back in a favorable matchup against the Bucs this week. Tampa Bay has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season, and have allowed at least 15 receptions three times to wideout groups. We like Landry as a WR1 option this week.

CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Jarvis Landry saw 10 targets last week, finishing with 69 yards on five receptions. He now has double-digit targets in every game but one this season and is tied for 4th in the NFL for most targets on the season (58). He's on pace for another 90-catch season.

This week he gets a fairly favorable matchup against the Chargers, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing WRs. We like Landry to continue his strong season vs. L.A. and should be viewed as a strong WR2 choice.

CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Jarvis Landry saw a healthy 10 targets, but finished with four receptions for 34 yards. Thankfully for owners he also had a score, but it's not promising that he put in season lows for receptions and yards with a new QB.

He could have another down game this week in a tough matchup against the Ravens. Baltimore's numbers are skewed a bit due to A.J. Green's monster 3-TD game, but outside of that the Ravens have been solid against wideouts. Landry should be viewed as a decent WR2 choice this week.

CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Oakland Raiders

Jarvis Landry bounced back with a big game last week, catching eight of his 14 targets for 103 yards. He's now topped 10+ targets and 100+ yards in two games this season. New QB Baker Mayfield accounted for nine of Landry's 14 targets, so the rookie clearly feels comfortable going to the veteran.

We expect more of the same from Landry—high catches, near 100 yards—as he faces the Raiders in Week 4. Oakland has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts so far this season, so Landry should do well. We like him as a low-end WR1.

CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. New York Jets

Jarvis Landry had a mediocre game last week, catching five passes for a nice 69 yards. He saw seven targets, which tied with two other players for most on the team, so the ball was definitely spread around more in Week 2 compared to Week 1.

Landry gets a decent matchup against the Jets this week. New York has given up one touchdown to the WR group in both games, so perhaps Landry can get his first score of the season. We like Landry as a solid WR2 in both standard and PPR formats.

CLE WR Jarvis Landry - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at New Orleans Saints

As expected, Jarvis Landry has a similar role with the Browns as he's had his entire career. He saw 15 targets, which is more than double what any other Cleveland Brown receiver saw in Week 1. He turned those targets into seven receptions for 106 yards.

Landry gets an interesting matchup in Week 2 as the Saints were torched last week, despite the expectation of them being a good defense. We'll see if Week 1 for New Orleans was a fluke, but if not, then expect Landry to feast this week. We like him as a low-end WR1 in PPR and a solid WR2 in standard.
