Broncos TE A.J. Derby (concussion) did not practice Wednesday. Both Derby and Virgil Green are dealing with concussions, so the Broncos are down to Jeff Heuerman at tight end.

Tight end Virgil Green was diagnosed with a concussion after he sustained a hit to the head in the first quarter. He and tight end A.J. Derby are both in concussion protocol. Neither player was at the facility on Monday.

“I don’t know what point in the game [Derby suffered the concussion],” Kubiak said. “I just know after the game, came in, talked to ‘Greek’ [Head Athletic Trainer Steve Antonopulos], talked to the doctors [and] they evaluated him.”
