MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Indianapolis

Lamar Miller had his eighth game of the season last week with 10 carries or less. He had nine rushing attempts and finished with just 12 yards. He also added 12 yards on two receptions.

Miller is good when he gets touches, which is almost never. Maybe he'll get some this week in a favorable matchup against the Colts. Indianapolis has given up over 100 yards to backs in each of the last four games, including an average of 141 in the last three. Assuming Miller gets the ball, he should be viewed as a low-end RB1 play this week.

MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. San Diego

Lamar Miller had yet another solid performance last week, going for 89 yards and two scores on 12 carries. It'd be nice to see him get more than 12 touches consideration his production, but that's been an issue all season.

He should be able to go off this week in a favorable matchup against San Diego. The Chargers have allowed over 100 yards to backs in every game but three this season. Miller should be viewed as a RB1 this week.

MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. New York Giants

Hey, look what happens when you give Lamar Miller the ball! After a Week 12 game where the Dolphins rusher had just five carries, he was given the ball 20 times on the ground and he turned it into 113 yards.

His 20 carries set a new season high for him, and it came after Miami fired its offensive coordinator. He should get plenty of touches of again this week in a favorable matchup against the Giants. New York has allowed over 100 rushing yards to backs in six of its last eight games. Miller should be viewed as an RB1 heading into this matchup.

MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Lamar Miller - Week 13 vs. Baltimore
Lamar Miller had just eight touches last week, which led to very low production. He's now had six games out of 11 where he's had 10 carries or less this season. Hopefully with offensive coordinator Bill Lazor fired that will change.

Miller can make things happen when he gets the ball, although he could struggle this week. The Ravens defense hasn't allowed many fantasy points to running backs, holding them to under 75 rushing yards in eight games this season.

This week, Miller should be viewed as a strong RB2.

MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New York Jets

One of Lamar Miller's worst games this season came against the Jets in Week 4. To be fair, he only had eight touches in that outing, so there wasn't much he could do to produce. He's been receiving more touches lately, although last week he wasn't used too much.

Miller has improved since the Dolphins moved on to a new head coach, but we expect him to have a rough outing this week. The Jets are one of the best defenses against the run, allowing just one score on the ground to backs all season. Miller should be viewed as a RB2 this week.

MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Dallas

Rookie Jay Ajayi is starting to emerge as a backup in Miami, but Lamar Miller owners don't need to worry. The Dolphins main back is still going strong with plenty of yards, including 93 last week along with a touchdown.

Miller has really come on strong since the bye week, averaging 124 yards over his last five games. The most noticeable increase in production comes from him catching the football. His good fortune should continue this week in a favorable matchup against Dallas. Miller should be viewed as a RB1 this week.

MIA RB Lamar Miller - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Philadelphia
Lamar Miller had a fantastic 141-yard, 2-touchdown performance last week. Most of his yards came via pass as he racked up 97 receiving yards on seven receptions. It was a nice bounce back game considering his poor effort in Week 8. This week, he draws a tough matchup against the Eagles. Philadelphia has only allowed two total touchdowns to backs all season, including just one rushing. Miller draws a tough matchup, but considering his recent production it'd be crazy to consider sitting him. He remains a strong RB1 in PPR formats and a lower-tier RB1 in standard.
