NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Los Angeles Rams

Mark Ingram rushed 11 times for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 11 win over Washington. He also added 3 catches for an additional 21 yards. It was the fourth time in Ingram's last six games he rushed for at least 100 yards. He saved his best for last, racking up 51 yards on 2 carries in overtime.

Ingram is an every-week RB1 regardless of matchup. He and Alvin Kamara have formed a tremendous 1-2 punch in the similar manner of Atlanta's Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman in 2016. Ranked as our No. 4 RB for Week 12, make sure Ingram is in your lineup on Sunday when the Saints visit a Rams team ranked 29th against fantasy running backs this season.

NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Washington

Mark Ingram rushed 21 times for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Saints' Week 10 win over the Bills. New Orleans' offensive line mauled Buffalo's front four in this one, creating a great push for Ingram and Alvin Kamara in the running game. Ingram had 43 yards and a touchdown on the opening drive and added a second score on a powerful 3-yard run in the second quarter. He added the cherry on top with a touchdown midway through the third quarter.

The Saints host a Washington team ranked eighth against fantasy running backs this season, so the matchup isn't great. Still, both Kamara and Ingram are locked in as RB1s moving forward. Ranked as our No. 6 RB for Week 11, make sure Ingram starts in all formats this week.

NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Buffalo Bills

Mark Ingram rushed 16 times for 77 yards while adding 1 reception for 2 yards in Sunday’s Week 9 win over the Buccaneers. He had a 32-yard run in the third quarter but was more efficient than dynamic. It was the first time in his last three games where he was not involved in the passing game. Still, Ingram played 60% of the team’s snaps despite fumbling twice in the fourth quarter in Week 8.

Ranked as our No. 11 RB for Week 10, view Ingram as a low-end RB1 when the Saints play the Bills on Sunday. Buffalo owns the 23rd-ranked defense against fantasy running backs so the matchup is better than you’d think against a Bills team that has played well this season.

NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mark Ingram rushed 18 times for 75 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 8 win over the Bears. He also had 6 catches for 24 yards, although he fumbled twice late in the game, which nearly allowed Chicago to mount a comeback. For what it's worth, Sean Payton said earlier this week that Ingram will bounce back from the turnovers.

Ranked as our No. 4 RB for Week 9, Ingram will be an RB1 when the Saints host a Bucs team that ranks 21st against fantasy running backs. Rookie Alvin Kamara continues to play a featured role in Payton's offense but the team is as balanced offensively as it has been since 2009. Both Ingram and Kamara are now weekly starting options in fantasy.

NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Chicago Bears

Mark Ingram rushed 22 times for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 7 win over the Packers. He also added 4 receptions for 5 yards. Ingram has now gone over 100 yards rushing in both games since the team traded Adrian Peterson to Arizona. With Peterson gone, the Saints now have clear roles for Ingram and Alvin Kamara. Both backs are viable fantasy options on a weekly basis. Ranked as our No. 5 RB for Week 8, get Ingram in your lineup for when the Saints host the Bears on Sunday.

NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Green Bay Packers

Mark Ingram rushed 25 times for 114 yards with 2 touchdowns in the Saints’ wild Week 6 victory over the Lions. Ingram added 5 receptions for 36 yards. Even though Alvin Kamara drew the start, Ingram is a major focal point in Sean Payton’s offense, both as the team’s early-down and goal-line back.

The Saints travel to Green Bay on Sunday to take on a Packers team ranked 18th against fantasy running backs. Ranked as our No. 8 RB, fire up Ingram as an RB1 this weekend.

NO RB Mark Ingram - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Detroit Lions

Mark Ingram rushed 14 times for 45 yards and caught 4-of-8 targets for 17 yards in the Saints’ Week 4 win over the Dolphins in London. He’s now averaging 11.93 points in standard leagues and 15.56 points in PPR. He remains the clear No. 1 back in New Orleans and no longer has to cede carries to Adrian Peterson, who was traded to Arizona earlier this week. Alvin Kamara’s role should grow, but Ingram is a weekly RB2.

Ingram has a decent matchup on Sunday when the Saints host the Lions. Ranked as our RB9 against Detroit’s NO. 15-ranked defense against fantasy running backs, consider Ingram a low-end RB1 for Week 6.
