TB RB Rachaad White - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Tennessee Titans

Rachaad White had his best game of the season last week. He ran for a season-high 20 times, finishing with 73 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. As a receiver he saw four targets, catching all of them for 46 yards. White currently only trails Alvin Kamara in total receptions this season, and he's been seeing plenty of volume as a runner. In total, White is averaging 82.2 scrimmage yards this season. White gets an OK matchup this week against the Titans (13th aFPA). We like him as a low-end RB1 or a strong RB2 option in Week 10.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Houston Texans

For the second game in a row, Rachaad White had a strong game as a receiver, which offset his poor performance as a runner. White ran nine times for 39 yards, but added seven receptions for 70 yards. White has now caught 13 passes in his last two games, and has at least three receptions in six straight games. He trails just Alvin Kamara and Christian McCaffrey in receptions for running backs this year. This week, White draws an OK matchup vs. the Texans (22nd aFPA). He should be viewed as a strong RB2 option in Week 9.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Buffalo Bills

Rachaad White didn't do much on the ground last week, rushing 17 times for 39 yards. But he made up for that production as a receiver, catching six passes for 65 yards, both season highs. White has struggled as an actual runner all season, finishing below 40 rush yards in four of his six games this season. But he's been involved enough as a receiver to make him a solid RB2 play based off of volume alone. That will likely be the case again this week as White faces the Bills. Buffalo has a good defense, but surprisingly hasn't been that tough on running backs this year as they're 21st in aFPA. They've given up the 7th-most total rush yards to RBs so far. We like White as a solid RB2 option for Week 8.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Rachaad White didn't do a whole lot last week as he finished with a season-low seven rush attempts for 26 yards. He also caught three passes for 12 yards. Also notable is that Ke'Shawn Vaughn finished with six rush attempts behind White, a game after finishing with nine rush attempts. White is still dominating the snap counts, seeing at least 70% of the offensive snaps in every game, but the split touches are a little concerning. As for Week 7, White gets a tough matchup against the Falcons who are 7th in aFPA to RBs. White should be viewed as a solid RB2 option this week.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Detroit Lions

Rachaad White once again led the Bucs' backfield in Week 4 as he saw 15 carries and played on 70% of the offensive snaps. White finished with 56 yards on the ground and caught three passes for 22 yards. White hasn't been the most productive player, but he's seeing enough volume that it makes him a good enough option in fantasy. He's averaging a solid 73.0 scrimmage yards per game this season. It is worth noting that Ke'Shawn Vaughn saw nine carries in Week 4, so perhaps he sees more playing time coming out of the bye. But for now, White seems to have a stranglehold on this backfield which makes him a valuable RB2. This week, though, White draws a brutal matchup against the Lions who are 1st in aFPA to RBs.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at New Orleans Saints

Rachaad White struggled to find much running room against the Eagles' defensive line in Week 3 as he ran 14 times for 38 yards (2.7 ypc). He also caught three passes for 24 yards. The only good news to come out of that game is that White played on 91% of the team's offensive snaps as he clearly establishes himself as the lead back of this offense. However, that doesn't mean much if he's not putting up decent production. White could struggle again in Week 4 as he faces another tough defense in the Saints. New Orleans is giving up the 7th-fewest fantasy points to running backs this year, including no rushing or receiving touchdowns allowed to the position. White should be viewed as a solid RB3/flex option in Week 4.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Rachaad White continues to dominate the Bucs' backfield as he had a solid outing in Week 2. White ran 17 times for 73 yards with a touchdown while also catching five passes for 30 yards on five targets. White played on 72% of the team's offensive snaps while Sean Tucker played on 24%. Even though he didn't see much action, it is worth noting that Chase Edmonds has been placed on injured reserve, so White has even less competition for a while. White gets an OK matchup this week against the Eagles, where we'd expect him to see at least 15 touches again. White has been a decent back to trust, and should be viewed as a solid RB2 play in Week 3.
