Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) will not play Sunday against the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact: 

Gurley missed practice all week with a thigh contusion. Malcolm Brown now shoots into the starting role and should see a vast majority of the work against the 49ers. Darrell Henderson May be sprinkled in from time to time but it’ll be Brown’s show. Fire him up as a RB2/Flex.

Rams RB Todd Gurley (quadricep, doubtful) missed practice all week and is doubtful for Week 6. With Gurley doubtful, we have taken him out of the rankings. Malcolm Brown would likely see most of the carries and the Rams may dust off Darrell Henderson for a change-of-pace role against the 49ers. The matchup isn't good, so Brown is not a no-brainer RB2-type start, but he'll be the starter for the home-favorite Rams, whose offense creates a lot of scoring opportunities.

Rams RB Todd Gurley (quadricep) did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Gurley's Week 6 status is "very much in the air" per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. If he can't play, Malcolm Brown would likely see most of the carries and the Rams may dust off Darrell Henderson for a change-of-pace role against the 49ers.

The Rams didn't practice on Thursday due to high winds, but the did have a walkthrough and Todd Gurley didn't participate due to his quad injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

If Gurley doesn't practice on Friday, his odds of playing appear to be slim. Malcolm Brown would start while Darrell Henderson would back Brown up and see work on his own if Gurley doesn't suit up. Brown would be the safe play while Henderson would have some flex appeal due to his big-play ability.
