After a rocky start, during which he seemed to draw Eli Manning's ire by running a couple of incorrect routes, WR Mario Manningham was apparently demoted.

For most of the last three quarters, Victor Cruz joined Hakeem Nicks in two-receiver sets. Manningham played mostly as the third receiver.

Manningham, who was returning from the concussion he suffered two weeks ago, said he was physically fine.

Fantasy Impact: 

Something to keep an eye on. Cruz exploded against the Eagles and you had to figure the Giants would want to get him on the field more going forward than he had been.

Falcons WR Roddy White (thigh Questionable) was limited at practice Friday after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday and is Questionable for Week 4. It's not unusual for White to miss or be limited at practice and play on Sunday, but with a late (4:05 PM ET) kickoff, fantasy owners should have a plan in case disaster strikes and White can't go. Jacoby Ford, Denarius Moore, Eric Decker, Davone Bess, Torrey Smith, Victor Cruz and Harry Douglas are a few (possibly) available wideouts with late kickoffs that could be acquired and inserted into lineups if White can't play.

WR Victor Cruz has lit it up as an outside receiver in practice, just like he did in his debut last preseason against the Jets.

And just like he did in place of Mario Manningham on Sunday in the Giants’ 29-16 victory over the Eagles.

But he is better suited to being a slot receiver than lining up on the outside because of his physical size, according to offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride.

“Eventually, I think that is going to be his spot, but to his credit, when he is outside, he reaches up and he is strong and can run after the catch,” Gilbride said. “He has shown that from Day One. If you throw the ball near him, he will go get it.”
