Fantasy Impact:

The Packers opted to bring in Jacobs to replace Aaron Jones but are keeping Dillon, who finished 2023 as one of the least efficient running backs in football. Dillon has become an afterthought for fantasy football and should likely remain there.

Week 17 at Indianapolis Colts

Josh Jacobs missed the last two weeks with an injury, but he was close to playing last week, so there’s optimism for him heading into Week 16. He’s been a quality fantasy back this year, when healthy, despite the up-and-down struggles for the Raiders in general.

If he returns this week, Jacobs will face a Colts defense that ranks 31st in aFPA to opposing running backs. Expect the Raiders to lean heavily on the run game, and as long as he’s good to go, Jacobs should put up quality RB1 numbers. Start him, but be sure to have a backup plan in place in case he’s a late scratch.
