Vikings RB Alexander Mattison dealing with concussion

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said running back Alexander Mattison suffered a concussion in Sunday's game versus the Saints.

Fantasy Impact:

The trend has been players sit out at least week after falling into concussion protocol, so Mattison owners may want to make alternate plans now. To complicate things, Mattison and the Vikings have the Sunday night game at Denver in Week 11. Chandler could see a bulk of the work and scored on a wildcat formation play in Week 10. The team has already signed Gaskin ahead of Week 11. Chandler could make for an interesting pickup this week if he's on your wire. It's a favorable matching against the Broncos.

MIA RB Myles Gaskin - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Myles Gaskin ended up having a decent role in Week 5. He ran four times for nine yards while seeing five targets and catching three passes for 24 yards. It's the first time Gaskin has seen playing time since Week 1, but his usage is interesting considering he saw more touches (7) than Chase Edmonds (1). Gaskin also played on three more snaps than Edmonds. If Gaskin continues to see five targets, he could have some decent value in PPR formats. His stock would also rise if Raheem Mostert (knee) is unable to go. As of now though, we wouldn't recommend Gaskin in Week 6 against the Vikings.
