Week 15 Essential NFL Practice News & Notes for Thursday

Eagles QB Sam Bradford (left shoulder) took full practice reps again Thursday. Bradford is expected to start against the Cardinals, but he’s not an appealing streaming option. He has only accounted for more than one touchdown in three of his 11 games this year.

Bengals QB Andy Dalton (right thumb) was ruled out for Week 15. AJ McCarron will get the start. He threw for 280 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions last week against the Steelers.

Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (left thumb) took full practice reps again Thursday. Fitzpatrick has 15 total touchdowns in his last six games. He’s good to go for a difficult matchup against the Cowboys.

Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck (back, ribs) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Hasselbeck is expected to start against the Texans, though he’s severely banged up, so it’s no sure thing.

Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) missed practice again Thursday. Hoyer won’t play. It’s going to be T.J. Yates this week. This isn’t necessarily bad for DeAndre Hopkins, though it is a bit of a concern.

Colts QB Andrew Luck (abdomen, kidney) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Brock Osweiler will start Week 15. It’s a fairly nice matchup for a Steelers defense that has fared pretty well, fantasy-wise.

Browns QB Johnny Manziel (right elbow) took full practice reps again Thursday. Manziel is averaging 233 passing yards and 1.2 TD in five starts. He has a bad matchup with the Seahawks this week.

Cowboys QB Tony Romo (left shoulder) was ruled out for Week 15.

Ravens QB Matt Schaub (chest) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Schaub didn’t look comfortable, per beat writer Jeff Zrebiec.
