DraftKings Championship Week GPP Breakdown
On a two-game slate, successful differentiation is more likely to be achieved with creative roster construction than it is with contrarian plays, as there really are no truly off-the-radar plays. Among other things, don't be afraid of pairing two RBs from the same team, pairing RBs and pass-catchers from the same team, using a QB without any of his receivers, using a TE in the flex, using a DST opposing another player in your lineup, or even leaving salary on the table.
The following are players I like the idea of being overweight on relative to the field's projected ownership.
QB
Tom Brady $7,100 vs. PIT
This is a tough draw for Brady, but he's a home favorite and the Patriots' implied total is actually higher than that of the Packers, yet Aaron Rodgers costs $1,100 more. Brady was still able to throw for 287 yards against the Texans' ferocious defense last week despite two uncharacteristic interceptions, a lost drive to a kick return TD, and the fact that the Texans weren't forcing the Patriots to do much scoring.
