Week 14 Fantasy Football Practice News & Notes for Friday

Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (right wrist) took full practice reps all week. Bortles will be fine to face the Seahawks.

Patriots QB Tom Brady (achilles) returned to take limited reps Friday after missing practice Thursday. No worries here.

Broncos QB Paxton Lynch (ankle, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 14.

Dolphins QB Matt Moore (foot) missed practice again Friday.

Panthers QB Cam Newton (right shoulder) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Newton should continue to play through the injury though he has a tough matchup against the Vikings and his top receiver (Devin Funchess) is dealing with a shoulder injury and Xavier Rhodes.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (right hand) took full practice reps all week. Prescott is “good to go” per Ian Rapoport.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford (right hand, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 14. Tim Twentyman reported that he “spun the ball pretty well” on Thursday. He’s trending up. The Lions play early on Sunday.

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (knee, questionable) took limited practice reps again Friday and is questionable for Week 14. Taylor avoided a serious injury and his return to practice indicates that he may be able to play. Right now, we’re assuming that Nathan Peterman will draw the start. Even if Taylor plays, we wonder how mobile he’ll be.

Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston (ankle) took full practice reps all week. Winston returned last week to throw for 270 yards and 2 touchdowns in a great matchup against the Packers. He has another good matchup against the Lions, who have yielded an average of 276 yards and 2.0 touchdowns to Joe Flacco and Case Keenum in the last two weeks.
