The Top DFS Stacks on FanDuel and DraftKings in Week 9
Here I’ll be diving into stacks that mainly involve the week’s highest over/unders. For starters, I’ll lead with my favorite game stack from the highest implied over/under game, followed by analyzing the next three games with the highest totals on the slate, and then a low-owned stack.
Top Stacks From Games With High Vegas Totals
Cowboys (25) vs. Chiefs (26) — Over/Under - 51
Dak Prescott ($8,200/$6,700) + Dez Bryant ($7,700/$6,400)
Prescott draws a home matchup against the Chiefs where the Cowboys are implied for 25 points, the sixth-highest total on the main slate. The Chiefs can be exploited through the air, allowing capable quarterbacks to take advantage: Outside of Trevor Siemian, Kansas City has allowed multiple touchdown passes in three of their last four games. Their defense is also allowing 6.0 yards per play, which is only better than the Colts (6.3) and Patriots (6.6). Dak has been highly efficient this season, posting a 6.2 percent touchdown rate, tied for fourth-highest in the league.
The Chiefs have allowed 14 passing touchdowns, which is tied for the third-most allowed by any defense this season. Making matters even better, Dez Bryant should avoid standout cornerback Marcus Peters on most of his routes. This is a spot to jump on Bryant with Ezekiel Elliott being out (probably) and the Chiefs ranking 30th in wide receiver aFPA. It also doesn’t hurt that Bryant’s price dropped $1,300 on DraftKings and $600 on FanDuel. His touchdown probability could be even higher than it normally is in the red zone with Zeke out—he already leads the league with 53.3% target rate inside the opponent's 10-yard line.
