NFL DFS Week 2 Afternoon-Only Slate Breakdown
Here I will be doing a team-by-team breakdown for the afternoon slate (4pm only) and discussing the top plays for both cash games and tournaments.
Bears at Broncos - 40.5 Over/Under
Top Targets
Tarik Cohen ($6,100 FD/ 4,500 DK)
Second on the team in target share, Cohen makes for an intriguing dart throw. Neither defense will be easy on the run game so it's possible for Cohen to be used as an extension of it through the passing game. He was used exclusively as a receiver last week and would've had an easy touchdown if Mitch Trubisky didn't underthrow him.
Allen Robinson ($7,200 FD/$6,100 DK)
Last week Robinson was given heavy volume with 13 targets and 44% of the team's air yards. That type of volume makes him cash viable but I'm avoiding him in tournaments as this is set up to be an ugly game.
Emmanuel Sanders ($6,500 FD/$4,700 DK)
While Courtland Sutton finished with the better overall numbers, Sanders actually received similar volume. Sutton has established him as a big downfield target but the Broncos won't be taking so many deep shots against the Bears dangerous pass rush. Look for Sanders to benefit from more underneath targets.
Noah Fant ($5,200 FD/$3,000 DK)
Fant didn't quite hit the ground running like fellow rookie tight end T.J. Hockensen. However, this could be his break out game as the Broncos just allowed athletic tight end, Darren Waller, to catch seven passes for 77 yards.
