Streaming Tight Ends: Week 17 Targets
The majority of the fantasy world has shut it down for 2020, but if you’re still playing and need some tight end help, I’m here for you.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

Week 16 was a disaster for tight ends, and a wonderful example of this is Jimmy Graham was the TE1 in half-PPR points. As far as my suggestions went, Jordan Akins was my top performer (TE23) with 5.9 fantasy points.
Our goal in all this is starting tight end results. After 16 weeks, 4for4’s optimal streamer has scored an even 200 half-PPR points, which equates to TE3 numbers on the season.

Irv Smith Jr. (Vikings) @ Lions
With Kyle Rudolph sidelined in Week 16, Smith Jr. caught 6-of-9 targets for 53 yards and two scores, translating to 20.3 half-PPR fantasy points. If Rudolph is out again this week, Smith Jr. makes for a decent option against the Lions' 28th ranked defense in TE aFPA.
The second-year tight end is on 15% of Yahoo! rosters heading into Week 17.
