2021 Fortinet Championship Preview

The PGA Tour opens the 2022 season by heading out west for the inaugural Fortinet Championship. Though the tournament name has changed, it will be played on the very familiar North course at the Silverado Resort and Spa. This will be the eighth consecutive year the event will be hosted at Silverado. Located in the heart of California’s Napa Valley wine country, the course features tight undulating tree-lined fairways, minimal hazards, playable rough and a likely winning score in the mid-to-upper teens. It is also the beginning of another FedExCup season. Plenty of new Tour members, and perhaps unfamiliar names, will be competing in this tournament and will be looking to continue their momentum from recent successes on the Korn Ferry Tour.
