DraftKings Week 5 Cash Game Picks and Strategy
In this space each week will be the top cash plays on DraftKings with strategies on how to build a profitable cash lineup. The backbone of 4for4’s cash game approach is our proprietary value metric, which goes beyond simple point per dollar projections. That value calculation extends to a player’s odds of hitting cash game value based on their implied volatility according to their floor, median and ceiling projections.

Quarterbacks
The quarterback position is a bit more thin than usual with the top-three projected quarterbacks and five of the top eight off the main slate.
That leaves Dak Prescott ($6,900) as the QB2 on the slate with a similar projection to Kyler Murray but for $1,100 less. Prescott isn’t breaking pass attempt records this year like some were hoping for in the preseason but what he’s lacked in volume, he’s made up for in efficiency—he ranks in the top seven in both touchdown rate and adjusted yards per pass attempt. That has resulted in three games of at least three passing touchdowns and 20 or more DraftKings points. His ceiling is elevated in the offense with the highest implied point total on the slate (29.5) against a Giants defense ranked in the bottom 10 in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to quarterbacks.
