NFL Week 9 Betting Picks: Against The Spread

Looking back at Week 8, well, frankly, I’d rather not. What could go wrong did go wrong, unfortunately. The Falcons' play went up in smoke following the news of Calvin Ridley leaving the team for mental health reasons. That one would have easily been struck from the slate with their top wide receiver out. For the Lions, it was unfathomable to watch Jared Goff deflate the team. After taking a sack on a fourth-down play, which, needless to say, is worse than an interception, he followed that up with an even worse decision. On the team's fourth-down play, Goff threw the ball away. Again, far worse than an interception. I would have been deflated as a teammate as well. Lastly, the Bengals. A losing bet is one thing, but no more survivor pools for the season hurts even worse.
