NBA Player Prop Bets: Eric Gordon Cleared For Blast Off

Saturday brings us 11 total NBA games around the association and since we’re devoid of NFL football today, all eyes in the professional sports world will be on the hardwood. With a few games starting early, I set my focus on the 5:30 PM EST or later games for my props, outlined below.

Today’s NBA Player Prop Bets (January 27, 2023)

Nic Claxton Over 10.5 Rebounds (+100 at FanDuel)

Nic Claxton has been on an absolute tear as he continues to climb up the Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) ladder. Saturday presents him with another great opportunity to dominate, especially on the glass, with Ben Simmons having been ruled out against a Knicks team missing Mitchell Robinson.

Over his last eight games, Claxton ranks just outside the top 10 (11th) in the entire NBA in rebounding chances per game (18.1), a mark that comfortably leads the Nets. Over that same span, Simmons has averaged 9.1 rebounding chances per game, leaving a rather significant void up for grabs.

On the season without both Simmons and Kevin Durant on the floor, Claxton has posted a 20.7% rebounding rate, a significant 3.8% increase over his season-long rate. Against a Knicks interior that has fallen apart without Robinson, Claxton has a mammoth ceiling on the boards this evening.
