The Best Wide Receiver to Take in Every Round of Your Fantasy Football Draft
There are few better things in fantasy football than having a dominant wide receiver. However, wide receiver is a tricky position to get correct. While quarterbacks and running backs can create on their own, receivers are often dependent on the system around them to produce in fantasy—the quality of the quarterback, offensive ceiling, and situation are crucial to wide receiver success. In this article, I’m going to be using those three principles to highlight my favorite wide receiver in every round of fantasy football drafts this year.

Round 1: Tyreek Hill, Dolphins
I guess Justin Jefferson is technically the best receiver to take in drafts this year, but he’s the consensus 1.01, so that feels like cheating. Instead, I’ll choose Tyreek Hill, who I believe should be ranked right behind Jefferson this year. Hill had a monster first year with the Dolphins in 2022, racking up north of 1,700 receiving yards and finishing as the overall WR2. He was able to put up such gaudy numbers despite quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing five games due to several concussions. With Tagovailoa fully cleared for 2023, Hill should continue to be an incredibly dependable WR1 for fantasy. I like Hill more than guys like Ja'Marr Chase and Cooper Kupp because Hill’s speed and yards after the catch (YAC) ability make him essentially QB-proof. Hill was still very productive in the games Tagovailoa missed last year and offers a high floor/high ceiling combo rivaled only by Jefferson.
