How To Play FastDraft
FastDraft is here, and it is a great new way to draft teams quickly. You can set your rankings for the Point-per-Reception scoring and set up turbo mode orders to draft as many teams as you want while away. Or, to draft live, take a few minutes to enter a Flex 4 or Origins tournament and quickly pick your team through a third-round reversal draft.
Why do traditional fantasy football drafts when you could DRAFT FAST!?🤔

FastDraft also includes boosters. With PPR scoring and essentially an all-FLEX lineup, boosters are the way to maximize player output through the tournaments. There are boosters for 2x, 1.75x, 1.5x, and 1.25x. You'll want to assign your highest upside guys to your higher boosters. These are generally the guys you pick in Rounds 1 and 2. There’s a limit on how many traditional drafts you can sit through, but on FastDraft? A fantasy gamer can get more than five done in an hour!

Flex 4
The Flex 4 format involves drafting six players, all FLEX, for a Best Ball view. In this format, you want to get unique and you want to draft upside. Since you are drafting six players, this means you can take swings in the last round or two of the draft. Players like Chase Brown, Brian Thomas, and Xavier Worthy are young guys set to earn roles that can pay off handsomely. These will give you spike weeks with the Best Ball format to maximize upside.
You are playing against the field on FastDraft with these teams. So, don't be afraid to experiment with some high-potential correlation. You can prioritize putting higher-correlated guys (same team or oft-opponents) in boosters. For example, the Cardinals and Rams are inter-division opponents in Week 17. Putting Marvin Harrison, Puka Nacua, Trey McBride, Cooper Kupp, or whatever combination of these teams you draft into boosters, maximizes upside for two games. This includes the final game of the tournament.
All-RB and All-WR builds are also possible. An all-WR build is more favorable because the position is deeper with PPR production, while an all-RB build is not as advisable. This would give you a unique entry into the tournament that can pay off if you have some correlation as well. Tight ends go in the later rounds of Flex 4, so you're only worrying about top tight ends, like Sam LaPorta, Travis Kelce, and other top six guys. There is no need to have a tight end unless you get a top guy and/or can correlate him with another selection.
Origins
The Origins format is a rookie Best Ball perspective drafting six guys fresh into the league. Getting weekly points from the six rookies is key, so getting guys with paths to roles is an optimal strategy. The first-round guys to select are top rookie wideouts and quarterbacks. Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels are targets at the top of drafts as QBs set to start immediately.
A lot of the correlation strategy used for Flex 4 can also be used in Origins. However, rookies mean less viable players per team. You won't be able to get a Williams-Rome Odunze stack with Williams going at the top of the first and Odunze towards the end. However, a Drake Maye stack with Ja'Lynn Polk or Javon Baker is possible. You can stick Maye in your top booster and Polk/Baker in the 1.5 or 1.75 to maximize the upside from those players. Other than that, it will be difficult to stack rookies. So, aiming for eventual roles and upside is ideal.
Day 1 and 2 wideouts are the surest bets and the best players to put into higher boosters. At running back, guys who could see high upside roles are good pickups. Jonathon Brooks is the top running back who will have major upside when fully healthy. Blake Corum, MarShawn Lloyd, Trey Benson, and Jaylen Wright are all guys who can get big roles if incumbent starters are hurt or see reduced roles. Rookie tight ends with pass-catching ability, like Erick All and Cade Stover, can also give you points over late round wideouts or running backs who are on roster bubbles. Form a clever draft with the intention of getting points from all six guys weekly.
Start Drafting
For the first year of FastDraft tournaments, I've laid out some strategies when it comes to drafting. With no prior information on tournament winners, there is a clean slate to try out strategy on a fresh new way to draft. These techniques can give you the edge you need. These drafts are quick, so get out there and draft responsibly.
