NFL SGP Picks: Jets vs. 49ers Parlay for MNF
Week 1 is almost in the books, with only one thing left to take care of. We're talking Monday Night Football here, people. Monday Night Football SGP - New York Jets vs San Francisco 49ers (+457)
Legs One & Two: Brock Purdy Under 240.5 Passing Yards & Aaron Rodgers Under 235.5 Passing Yards
After watching yesterday, something is up with the passing yards. Nobody seemed to be able to do anything through the air. Only one guy (Tua) on the entire slate went for 300+. Honestly, I don't know if that means anything or not but it happened. What I do know is that both of these two defenses are legit. Like legit, legit. Last season, the Jets only allowed 241+ passing yards in a game four times. That, combined with the fact that they should try to pound the rock on offense, should tank not only Brock Purdy's passing output but also Aaron Rodgers's. This could be a gross game for offense lovers.
Leg Two: Jets/49ers Under 49.5
I feel like Connor Allen with all of these under-moves, but I don't know what else to do. For starters, Connor might be on to something with his love for the under. Sometimes it's nice to watch a bunch of men fail. If you're not into being a hater, then look at it this way, we're betting on the defenses to succeed. If we've already bet both quarterbacks to go under, we may as well dive all the way in and take the under for the game as well. It just makes sense. A word to the wise, though, I wasn't willing to go full hater, so I bumped up the total and took an alt line. In my opinion, there is no way these two teams combine for 50+ points. If they do, we can just go to bed. We have options.

Leg Three: Tyler Conklin 3+ Receptions
I couldn't live with us if we didn't throw in an over, so I went with the old tight end receptions. If we're being honest, FanDuel won't give the No Sweat Token unless the parlay is 400+, so I had to. But anyway, three-plus receptions is an incredibly low bar, especially for a guy in Tyler Conklin's shoes. He should be on the field for 80+% of the snaps, and when the Jets actually throw the ball, many will be close to the line of scrimmage. Exactly where our boy Tyler will be hanging out. He went over this number 13 times last season while the 49ers allowed the 10th most receptions to the tight end position. Feels right.
