Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 14: Bear Down For Fantasy Playoffs
We’re coming off a hectic week with surprises from Thursday to Monday. Now, we have to transition to a week with playoff hopes hanging in the balance, six teams with fantasy-relevant players across all the rosters, and a few defenses that had been startable every week on bye.
With six teams on bye, there’s generally a larger need for quality streaming defenses than teams available, but I think there are quite a few options this week. This is the final week to fight for the playoffs in most leagues, it’s time to finish the fight for the playoffs and get in the dance.

Week 13 Review
It was a really good week for our streaming picks. We had three finishes in the top nine DSTs, including our deeper pick in the Cowboys, which finished as DST3 on the week. Our two surprise picks in the Bills and Packers DSTs surpassed expectations thanks to the colder conditions (or just some bad offense, who’s to say?).
Unfortunately, the Bucs couldn’t hold up their end of the bargain against the Panthers, but in their defense (as I’m going to mention the Bucs again shortly) it turns out Bryce Young may not be terrible. In fact, Young might be perfectly cromulent as an NFL quarterback and the time off did what it was intended to do.
Overall, we’re at 36 hits and 12 misses this year.
