Week 17 Saturday Main Slate and Single-Game NFL DFS Snapshot: Top FanDuel & DraftKings Plays

Welcome to the three-game Saturday slate snapshot for Week 17. As the season winds down, the DFS slates start to alter drastically, with multiple two-game slates on the docket between now and Super Bowl 59. To help DFS players who are tackling both the two-game slate and playing single-game DFS, we’ve combined the analyses into one, so you can look at the slate as a whole and make the best decisions for whatever contest you’re playing. We’ll include the same metrics we typically examine in single-game slate analysis, discuss team pace and passing, and separate top plays from the auxiliary options. At the bottom, you’ll find projected ownership for the two-game slates, as well as projected ownership for each of the game’s single-game DFS contests.

In the early matchup, the Los Angeles Chargers, currently at 9-6 and aiming to secure a playoff berth, face the New England Patriots, who, at 6-9, are looking to play spoiler and end their season on a high note. The Chargers are optimistic about the return of running back J.K. Dobbins, who has been activated off injured reserve and is poised to play after recovering from a knee injury. Later, the Denver Broncos, standing at 8-7 and fighting for a wildcard spot, visit the Cincinnati Bengals, who are sitting in third in the AFC North with a 7-8 record and aim to sneak into the playoffs themselves. The Bengals received positive news as offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. will play after missing several games due to a fibula injury, while wide receiver Tee Higgins is listed as questionable with ankle and knee injuries. In the evening, the Los Angeles Rams, at 9-6 and leading the NFC West, host the Arizona Cardinals, who, at 7-8, are striving to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
