Super Bowl 59 DraftKings & FanDuel Showdown Plays: Sunday Night NFL DFS for Chiefs at Eagles

We made it. Super Bowl 59 is upon us, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting championship games in years. A rematch of Super Bowl 57, Jalen Hurts and the rest of the Eagles look to get revenge after a heartbreaking loss in a game that many say was unjustly handed to the Chiefs via a key late penalty that crushed the Eagles’ chances.

This time, however, the Eagles come equipped with one of the best rushing attacks we’ve seen in a generation, with both Saquon Barkley —the league’s rushing leader and in the midst of one of the greatest running back seasons of all time— and Jalen Hurts, who might already be considered one of the most effective dual-threat quarterbacks in NFL history (who happens to be playing at the same time as at least two other generational dual-threat quarterbacks). Both are capable of torching defenses at a moment’s notice. Kansas City, meanwhile, has morphed from the team they were earlier in quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ career -—a squad that simply outscores you— to a team that knows how to grind out games defensively. To that end, they would be thrilled with a low-scoring, back-and-forth slugfest and will look to dictate the pace and tempo with long, methodical drives and a sprinkle of splash plays of their own. But Philadelphia’s defense ranked best in the NFL by many defensive metrics, so is that realistic for a Kansas City offense that many would consider middle of the road? Can you tell I’m excited!? Let’s break this last game of the season down from a single-game DFS perspective.
