15 Potential Fantasy Football Players Who Turned Heads at the NFL Combine

The NFL Combine is the first big event of the 2025 offseason and despite the optics of the spandex Olympics, it does provide some clarity on which rookie prospects to focus on for fantasy football purposes. Let’s take a look at who dazzled last weekend in Indianapolis, possibly improving draft stock and earning themselves a potential seat at the fantasy table for 2025.

Quarterbacks
The perceived top two at the position - Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders- did not participate in drills or testing, which could have opened the door for others to make some waves. The waves may be small, but here is the best of the rest.
Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)
He didn’t run the 40-yard-dash, but Jaxson Dart showcased his huge arm with the deep ball and also proved to be highly accurate on shorter passes. With a bright pro day down in Oxford, the former Rebel could sneak into the late-first round, but is currently projected as a second or possibly third-rounder. The likelihood of Dart boasting fantasy relevance in 2025 is slim, but stranger things have happened.
Other Solid QB Performances: Brady Cook, (Missouri), and Quinn Ewers, (Texas)
Wide Receivers
Matthew Golden, (Texas)
He didn’t participate in much over the weekend, but what he did was enough to likely spike Matthew Golden’s draft stock. He ran the fastest 40-yard dash at WR (4.29), and combined with his work at Texas, Golden may have sped his way into the first round come April. Right now he’s a fantasy WR4 as the 48th one drafted, boasting a March ADP of 93.1.

Jayden Higgins, (Iowa St)
We saw things that shouldn’t be done by a 6’4” human last weekend, as Jayden Higgins ran a 4.47 40-yard dash and topped that with a 39.00” vertical and a 10'8" broad jump. His gauntlet drill speed reached 19.14 MPH according to Next Gen Stats. Higgins likely carved out a Day 2 draft spot and is currently undervalued as WR79, a 16th rounder in early Underdog Drafts.
Jaylin Noel, (Iowa State)
Jaylin Noel was a top performer at the Senior Bowl along with his tape, and he continued that upward trajectory last weekend. He ran a solid 40-yard dash (4.39) with a 1.51-second 10-yard split. At 5’10”, the Iowa State product tied for the highest WR vertical jump at 41.50” and posted the farthest broad jump (11’2”). Noel currently isn’t on the fantasy radar, as he’s the WR92 with an ADP of 226.1.
Tai Felton, (Maryland)
His 40-yard dash and 10-yard split were among the top six wideouts to run, and Tai Felton’s jumps were also close to the top of the pack. His on-field performance was also impressive and the former Terrapin stood out during the gauntlet drills. A true sleeper right now at WR126, keep Felton's name in mind for those final-round stabs.

Running Backs
Ashton Jeanty is the perceived RB1 of this year’s class but didn’t participate in any drills, allowing other backs to possibly contend for that honor.
Omarion Hampton (North Carolina)
Omarion Hampton posted a solid vertical of 38”, with a 10’10” broad jump, which was third among RBs. His combination of size, quickness, and power shows promise of three-down playmaking at the NFL level. Before we know his landing spot, Hampton’s Underdog ADP is currently 58.7 as the RB19.
Quinshon Judkins (Ohio State)
The former Buckeye posted an eye-popping 11’0” broad jump, finishing first at his position. Quinshon Judkins also ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at 221 pounds, adding to his already impressive profile, which includes quick feet and good hands. Judkins’ Underdog ADP is currently in the seventh round but could climb after his solid performance, along with a favorable situation come April.
Bhayshul Tuten (Virginia Tech)
It was a head-turning day from start to finish for Bhayshul Tuten. He topped the RB field in almost every athletic metric with a 4.32 40-yard dash, a 1.49 10-yard split, and a 40.50” vertical jump. His solid outing continued through on-field work as he showcased not only short-area explosiveness and long speed but also solid hands.
Tuten has been a low-radar guy up to this point, boasting an Underdog ADP of 225.5 as the RB69, but could be one of those later-season fantasy assets with the right landing spot.
DJ Giddens, (Kansas State)
It was a somewhat surprisingly good NFL Combine for DJ Giddens, as he finished second among all RBs in both the vertical and broad jumps, and also outperformed expectations in the 40-yard dash with a 4.43 time. His draft stock has been mocked all over the place, but Giddens earned a top-100 spot after his solid execution and could even possibly sneak into Round 2 in April. Right now the Jayhawk product is the 59th RB leaving Underdog boards with an ADP of 195.9.
Tight Ends
The consensus top two TEs, Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland, did not work out in Indy, but here are some of the others who may have shined their way up NFL Draft boards on their way to fantasy land.
Mason Taylor, (LSU)
He didn’t participate in the athletic testing, but Mason Taylor’s on-field performance was excellent. The son of NFL legend Jason Taylor showed effortless soft hands, dominating the gauntlet drill and sled at the TE position. He’s not being drafted as fantasy relevant right now, leaving boards as the TE34 with an ADP of 234.1, but could be a sneaky dart throw in best ball formats as part of a two or three TE build.
Terrance Ferguson, (Oregon)
The Oregon product showed arguably the most athleticism among TEs in attendance in Indy last weekend. Terrance Ferguson ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.63) and tied for the quickest 10-yard split (1.55) at his position, and his 39.00” vertical was also tops. Ferguson was also fluid and strong in his passing drills. For now, he’s the 61st TE being drafted at spot 240.0.
Other Solid TE Performances: Thomas Fidone ll, (Nebraska), Joshua Simon, (South Carolina)
