The first round of the NFL Draft resulted in 10 offensive skill players being selected, with a large chunk possibly having an immediate fantasy impact. Or maybe not. Rookies are perenially unpredictable, but we do our best to digest what went down in Round 1 and assess their landing spots for fantasy purposes.
In the coming days and weeks, the 4for4 staff will have in-depth player profiles on every relevant rookie’s redraft stock, but for now, let’s take a look at the biggest winners and losers from Day 1 across the NFL.

Round 1 Winners
Ashton Jeanty, RB (LV)
Exceptional talent meets a team that really needed an RB. The Raiders have the fourth most opportunities for the position (290) with the third most opportunity percentage (70%). The Raiders have an underrated offensive line with an upgrade at coach and QB from the putrid 2024 campaign in Pete Carroll and Geno Smith, respectively.
Jeanty should see as much volume as he can handle, and his primary backup is free agent signee Raheem Mostert, who is ancient in RB years (33). He was pricey before the draft as the overall 12th pick and RB4 in both Drafters and Underdog contests, and could even rise a spot or two with his favorable landing spot.
