Mahomes Coming Off Huge Game
Another week, another win for the Chiefs as they beat the Bucs 30-24 in overtime. Patrick Mahomes, who was having a slow start statistically, went off as he threw for 291 yards with 3 touchdowns and a QB rating of 116.8. It was the best game of the season for Mahomes as he completed 77.3% of his passes. If he starts to get hot, the Chiefs might be near impossible to beat.
Broncos Coming Off Tough Loss
The Broncos are coming off a beat down in which they were run over by the Baltimore Ravens 41-10 last week. Rookie QB Bo Nix has been up and down in his first campaign as he ranks 21st in QBR (53.4). He has thrown 8 touchdowns and 6 interceptions this season for the 5-4 Broncos.
Travis Kelce Had First 100-yard Game Last Week
Travis Kelce has really picked up the pace as he has at least 70 yards receiving in four of his last five games. In last week's OT win vs the Bucs, Kelce had 14 receptions for 100 yards for his first 100-yard game on the season. After a very slow start, Kelce has become a top target for Mahomes as the Chiefs are starting to hit their stride on offense.
