DFS Strategy for UFC Fight Night San Paulo
After a week off, the UFC returns with a Fight Night in San Paulo, Brazil. This card has already had three matches scratched for different reasons. This card is heavy on Brazilian talent and it should be noted that Brazilian fighters win 67% of the time when facing fighters of different nationalities in Brazil. It will be hard to find value plays to fill out your roster but let’s take a look at plays for your DFS lineups this week.
Premium Plays ($9000 and Above)
Jailton Almeida $9600
Almeida is yet to be tested on the feet. Not much should change here as it will be tough for Derrick Lewis to keep this fight standing. Almeida is younger and more athletic. The timing and power of his takedowns will cause a lot of problems for Lewis. Lewis had his back against the wall before landing a kill shot knee that landed him a contract extension even though he is on the backside of his career. Lewis will need something similar in this fight if he wants to win. I don’t see that happening and it’s likely this fight won’t make it out of Round 1.
