We're now at the point of possibly fading all fantasy pieces from the Jaguars, who were already one of the lowest-projected teams of the week. Brian Thomas Jr. and Evan Engram are really the only two options here, and their ceilings have been drastically lowered.

The Panthers have decided to ship off Diontae Johnson and sophomore Jonathan Mingo, but their running back room is now set for the near future. It's an interesting decision, and may mean that Brooks coming in and taking over a full snap share is even less likely than it had been trending. Brooks feels unlikely to contribute in a meaningful way to 2024 fantasy rosters.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey was limited in practice today, but HC Kyle Shanahan said he has had “no pain”, an encouraging sign for his availability Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

If the 49ers had a commanding lead in the NFC West, there's a pretty good chance they would be more willing to ease CMC back into the gameplan, but at 4-4, they are not really in a position to mess around here. If McCaffrey is good to go, we should consider him an RB1 in Week 10.
