It has been reported that if Swift plays, it will be in a limited role, so know that an active Swift is not going to be the same player who dominated the backfield one month ago.

Swift should have a chance to play if he is able to log his third limited practice of the week, but a full session would go a long way into appeasing his fantasy managers concerns heading into the playoffs. He will likely be given the questionable tag heading into Week 14's contest against the Green Bay Packers.

Swift cleared concussion protocol last week but was held out with an illness in Week 13. The illness has apparently subsided and Swift looks on track to play in Week 14 when the Lions take on the Packers and their weak run defense. Swift was on the verge of seizing control of the Detroit backfield before the concussion, so it will be interesting to see his usage when he returns.
